there are still lots of smoke in the distance...there are still fires in fallbrook and rainbow, those towns are south of me on the 15...but they have not gotten close to our area and i hope they will be contained shortly. our bosses from cougar had to evacuate their home last night, but they are doing ok. i've packed a bag just in case the winds pick up and the fires come near us. i believe we will be fine, but if the fires happen fast, i'm ready to go.
our offices will be closed for the 3rd straight day tomorrow. it's been nice working from home but when we get back into the office, it's going to be crazy because many of the other groups that we work with only work in the office. i'm trying to stay on top of my emails at least, but i see a lot of things that need to be followed up on when we get back into the office. i'm wondering if we will be out of the office all week...that would be nice...my car (toni stewart) will love me more since she is not being driven as much. ;)
everyone in our group at work are ok, most everyone checked in with someone over the past couple of days so a big email blast went out to update everyone regarding everyone's status. it's nice to know everyone is safe and sound. :) hopefully everything will be back to normal soon.
i'm not sure how things are going to be also when i am going to SEMA next week. i don't plan on being in the office at all next week, but if the fires get worse in our area, i don't think i will go to the show...i would want to see what is going on here, but hopefully it won't come down to that. bummer though, i wouldn't want to miss SEMA, but my house and my friends and family here are more important.
anyways, just wanted to give y'all an update...
have a great evening!!! :)
xoxo,
speed

Glad you are safe and the fires are a "safe" distance from you home. It's so aweful out there for so many people!
So glad to hear that you are okay. I was getting worried when I didn't hear from you yesterday. Be safe!
